I currently work for a non-profit organization as a mental health therapist and have openings in the evenings for private practice. I consider myself a holistic practitioner, exploring the connections between the body, mind, heart, and spirit. I aim to support clients in healing by taking the entire human being and their life experiences into consideration. I can be cheery and playful, and also calming, non-judgmental, and understanding. While my approach is gentle, I also refuse to sugarcoat things
Feeling like your therapist is a good fit for you is important, so I try to be very transparent about who I am so you can make an informed choice. If for any reason we connect and you no longer feel I am the best therapist for you, you can fire me at any time and I will help you find someone new - no hard feelings! This is your process, and I want you to feel as comfortable as possible
I love playing in my garden, biking with my cat, kayaking with my dog, the Lord of the Rings, Slurpees, and tacos. I'm a country girl, I often have too many DIY projects on the go, and do my best to find the magic in the mundane

Experience and Credentials
If you’re looking for meaningful private counselling sessions with a therapist that cares, then you’ve come to the right place. I have spent the last decade of my life learning about intergenerational and attachment trauma, trauma informed care, privilege, decolonization, and radical mental health through my own personal experiences and development - with the help and support of my lifelong teachers.
I am a graduate of the Child and Youth Care program at MacEwan University as well as City University of Seattle's Master of Counselling program. I am a member of the Canadian Counselling of Psychotherapy Association and am a Certified Canadian Counsellor (CCC). I am also a member of The Association of Counselling Therapists of Alberta and am registered as a Counselling Therapist (CT). I have had more than 10 years of clinical experience and specialize in marginalized populations and complex cases.
